Email options
Email steps have a few extra options that LinkedIn steps don't.
Variations
Variations give each lead one version of a phrase, so your emails aren't all identical. Type them yourself, or select text in an email and click Add variations to selected text:
{{Hi|Hey}} {{first_name}},
Suggest versions writes some for you. An email can hold up to 4 parts, with up to 5 versions each, and a red warning shows when one is broken.
Opt-out line
A switch in the editor adds one grey line under every email, and you can edit it, up to 200 characters. By default it reads:
Not the right time? Just reply "no" and I won't email again.
Signature
Each inbox has its own signature, and Deberli adds it to every email from that inbox.
- Open Settings, then Sending accounts, and find the inbox.
- Click Add a signature.
- Add an image, text, or both, plus an optional link. Images must be PNG or JPEG, under 5 MB.
- Click Save signature.
Don't type a signature into your sequence as well, or people will see it twice.
Test emails
Send me a test sends an email step to you, so you can see it in a real inbox. It's on each email step in the Sequence tab, where a lead is picked for you, and on a lead's own page, where you see that lead's version. See Send yourself a test email.
Send yourself a test after you change an email or add a signature, because you'll see line breaks and images as your lead will.
When emails go out
- The Emails wait for accept switch appears when a LinkedIn invite is followed by emails. On, emails go only to people who accepted.
- In Autopilot, When no email is found decides whether Deberli skips the email steps or stops outreach to that lead.
