Sequences
The Sequence tab holds what a campaign sends and when. New campaigns start from a default you can change.
The default
A LinkedIn invitation with no note, then two paths: messages for people who accept, and emails for people who haven't accepted after 1 business day. Read your sequence walks through it.
You can change how long Deberli waits before moving someone to the email path, under Wait up to. Back to one list removes the split.
Edit a step
Expand a step with its chevron, or open its menu and choose Edit step or Remove.
| Step type | Notes |
|---|---|
| LinkedIn invite | Sent without a note. |
| LinkedIn message | Only reaches people you're connected to. |
| Visit profile | Visits their profile, with nothing to write. |
| Message company page | Writes to their company's LinkedIn page if they haven't accepted. It's skipped when the page takes no messages. |
| The first email needs a subject. An email can hold one link at most. |
Each step also has a delay in hours, and new steps start at 24 hours.
Placeholders
Insert these from the chips above the message, or type them yourself. See Placeholders.
{{first_name}},{{company}},{{title}},{{sender_name}}.{{signal}}becomes one sentence about what that lead did.
Keep {{signal}} in its own sentence. A lead without a signal gets the message without it, and the rest has to still read well.
Add steps
Click Add another touchpoint. A follow-up is just another message step.
Save
Click Save plan. Changes apply the next time a lead moves to a step, so messages already sent stay as they were.
Versions
The Versions menu next to Save plan has everything you need to go back or reuse a sequence:
- Undo last save and Version history, with Restore this version.
- Save as keeps a reusable copy.
- Saved sequences lets you load, rename or delete those copies.
Tips on your messages
Under a first LinkedIn message, Deberli may list ways to get more replies. Rewrite my message offers a new version, and you can choose Use this rewrite or Keep mine.
Writing in another language? Messages and briefs can be in any language.
