People you already know

Sometimes a lead is already one of your connections. By default they aren't messaged. The Your network lane recommendation lets you write to them with your approval.

By default

People you're already connected to show the status Already connected. They aren't messaged unless you turn the lane on.

Turn the lane on

1. Open Autopilot and find the recommendations.
2. Turn on Your network lane.

What happens then

People you or a teammate know get one short reconnect message in place of an invitation, with no follow-ups. Nothing goes out before you approve it.

• Approve books the message.
• Edit lets you change the words first.
• Not this person puts them in the normal sequence instead.

If the connection belongs to a teammate, the message goes from their account and they approve it. People messaged in the last 90 days are left out.

Statuses you'll see

Needs approval, Message booked, Message sent, Not this person, and waiting for a teammate.
