Review your first leads
Your first leads appear one card at a time. Accept the people you want to include and reject the rest.
What's on a card
- The person, their job and their company.
- The signal, if one was found: what they or their company did recently, and how long ago.
- The fit: how well they match your profile.
Accept or reject
- Accept keeps the person. They go into the campaign already approved.
- Reject asks for a one-line reason, such as "too junior" or "agency, not in-house". The reason improves the next search.
Write real reasons. "Wrong industry" tells Deberli more than a rejection with nothing on it.
If the leads look wrong
A lot of rejections usually means the profile is off, and that's quick to fix. Note what's wrong, carry on, and then change the rows in Targeting. See Change who a campaign targets.
Leads you've already reviewed stay as they are. Targeting changes apply to the next leads found.
When you reach the last card, Deberli moves on to your sequence.
Recap
- Accept the people you'd really write to.
- Give a reason when you reject, because it improves later searches.
- Accepted leads start as approved, so they don't wait for a second check.
