Targeting
The Targeting tab holds who a campaign looks for. Every new lead follows what's written here.
The rows
| Row | What to put there |
|---|---|
| Job roles | Who we contact, with one search per role. A campaign needs at least one. |
| Industries | Company industries, as LinkedIn names them. |
| Locations | Countries, regions or cities. |
| Excluded places | Places ruled out, for "Europe but not France". |
| Excluded | Anything that disqualifies a profile: agencies, consultants, students. |
| Company size | Headcount bands, as LinkedIn counts them. |
Saving
Change what you need, then click Save targeting, or Discard to go back. Leads already in the campaign stay, and your changes apply to the next leads found.
The Signals section saves on its own, as soon as you change it, so Save targeting isn't needed there. See Signals.
Fit-only leads
A signal isn't the only reason to contact someone. The Fit-only leads row decides whether the next search also adds people who fit your profile with no signal.
Want only people with a reason to talk now? Turn Fit-only leads off. From then on, only people with a signal are added. The trade-off is that fewer leads will arrive.
Keeping someone out
To keep a kind of person out from now on, add them to Excluded. To remove one person already in the list, use Remove a lead.
